On Tuesday 2 April 2024 we will be adjusting London Assay Office pricing.  

The adjustments that will affect most businesses are: 

• Packets containing 1-2 articles will increase from £15 to £16
• Packets containing 3+ articles will increase from £19 to £20, and the article surcharge will increase from £1.20 per article to £1.30 per article
• 1-hour priority service for up to 5 items in one packet, will increase from £80 to £85
• The application of Moderate bespoke (display) marks will increase from £1.75 to £2.00 per article
• The application of Complex bespoke (display) marks will increase from £3.50 to £4.00 per article

We understand that many of you will find these adjustments challenging, however we are proud to: 

• Be the most cost-effective Assay Office for customers that need to submit packets containing 1-2 articles. 
• Offer struck or laser marking in one, simple to follow, pricing structure. 
• Apply the full traditional UK hallmark without charging a supplement for the traditional fineness symbol or date letter. 

This decision to adjust our prices has not been taken lightly, however increased costs of production, and the surge in demand for high priority packet return and for complex marking of articles, have made it a necessity for our business.
