We Couldn't Have Put it Better Ourselves....

Responding to a post on our Twitter feed of an image of a beaker bearing its maker's very first hallmark Russ Elliott wrote: "While we pass through out creative lives our hallmarks not only represent quality they live on as record of what we achieved."

We loved the sentiment and it bought a tear to the eye of the Deputy Warden!

On his website Russ says "In a world of machined uniformity I want to see the brush marks, where the hammer struck, where the saw cut" - so naturally he sees the beauty in the hallmark also.
